Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
It is going to be another dead week here.. Half of april had gone by with nothing substantial.. all iv seen LVO do these days is work on backlog cases.. i know people have been waiting longer than i have but dont see how their current pace will help them in the long run.. clearing backlogs at this pace means more backlogs gathering... when oh when will our suffering end? 4 bloody months and there has been NO PPR of august and onwards applicants.. brutality at its peak! :'(

Yes, and this is applicants last chance to satisfy the VO. Make sure you address all the concerns that the VO may have.
Good luck and do post here after your interview.

Do not take your Children under the age of 18 to the interview. unless they are required to attend
All unmarried Children over the age of 18 year must accompany you to the interview.

TRV of Pakistani spouses gets rejected all the time. I submitted a solid application (relationship proof, approved vacation request from employer, employment proofs, funds, pr application proofs, previous travel history etc) and my application was refused for this single reason:
"Family ties in Canada"
How ridiculous is that (ofcourse i have family ties in canada: i said im going to visit my husband in the first line of the cover letter)?! Better to save your 16-18k rupees and all the time & effort (trv was like a mini sponsorship application itself).
Most Indians get their application approved very easily, its Pakistanis they have a problem with.
Try the economic stream if you want to.
IMO, we need to show more strong roots in Pakistan like property and liabilities.

You do realise that we are married to Canadian spouses, how can most ladies have properties & financial liabilities in Pakistan this early in our lives/marriage?
If someobody has them, good for them.

Hello Everyone,
I am new here. I just want to know how much time is required to complete "Background Check". I am well aware that it vary's case to case but i would like to know what is the fastest and slowest response time about BC in Pakistan.
Can some experienced members shed some light on BGC timelines.
Thanks
Cool buddy.
Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
some people's BCG got done in a span of a week..others have been waiting for more than 4 months.
Diff factors affect the duration of the process.
Can u share with us when u applied for the spousal visa? We are really anxious to know of more applicants whose BGC have gone into progress recently

Sometime between a few days/2 weeks to 4-5 months or more.
Few factors that I have noticed:
1) Gender of the applicant (male applicants
seem to take longer)
2) Travel history (whether the applicant has lived in other countries or not)
3) Employed in state organisations (takes longer if they have)
Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
Hi AmyR & MM345
I am not very familiar with the whole process but all i know now is i have completed my Medical on 6th November 2016 and currently under BGC since October 21, 2016.
This is why i was a bit curious about my BGC. It has been almost 6 months. Is this normal, i have never stayed anywhere more then 2-3 weeks. I have been to Maldives, Seychelles, Thailand, UAE and India.
Never worked in any state organisation.
What do you think....how much time will it take??? (Just a wild guess ;-)
