I guess your kid can wait with you and the applicant can mention that his wife and kid are present here as well.

Still i cannot see. I dnt knw whts pblm. Row 76 has wahmed. When he got ppr after interview??

Good to know that you are relieved after seeing the spreadsheet.

"2016" spreadsheet does nothing but cause anxiety in me. LVO is stuck with May/June since Nov.

Since Nov?? Are you serious? This is long. I am following the forum and spreadsheet after since I applied in December. Why the LVO is taking forever? Spreadsheet is showing August 2016 applicants are getting PPR since Dec, but I see no updates this month.

Is there any other way you guys tried to be with your spouses in Canada? Any TRV? or work permit? How does it work for Pakistani applicants? I heard we have zero chances of getting TRV while spousal application is in process? I don't understand how could they be so cruel when they talk about human rights all the time.

My mistake in looking at spreadsheet. They are June/July applicants actually got SA in August. I assume I shouldn't hold any hope till September this year :-(

TRV of Pakistani spouses gets rejected all the time. I submitted a solid application (relationship proof, approved vacation request from employer, employment proofs, funds, pr application proofs, previous travel history etc) and my application was refused for this single reason:

"Family ties in Canada"

How ridiculous is that (ofcourse i have family ties in canada: i said im going to visit my husband in the first line of the cover letter)?! Better to save your 16-18k rupees and all the time & effort (trv was like a mini sponsorship application itself).

Most Indians get their application approved very easily, its Pakistanis they have a problem with.

Try the economic stream if you want to.

Does anyone know how lo ng it takes after sending immigration summary form? And at what point they ask for such form?

Hi, which form number are you talking about? When was it requested and when did you send it?
Did you hear something from LVO after your interview. Last update on the spreadsheet is your interview in Nov 2016.

There's no number on them forms. LVO just sent me forms to fill them n send them along all passport copies. It's been a month and no update after that. Ecas shows "in process "

Can you tell us the date when they requested you to send forms & passport copy..need to update spreadsheet.

Background checks are done once eligibility stage is cleared in most cases. BG Checks include checking for criminality records and security checks in all countries you have lived in for a certain span of time. More countries you have lived in, more govt/military instituions u have worked for, the longer this process takes. It is not done by the visa officers themselves.. agencies are involved in conducting these checks and the time frame can vary from 1 -4 months or even less or more.
