Processing time period varies for each VO. Applications from Pakistan goes to the London Visa Office which takes between 7-10 months to process. You can pay RPRF upfront and submit the receipt with the application (this will save you time).

In the new rules, upfront medical is not possible as IOM will not give you an appointment without request from CIC. Therefore Police clearance Certificate & Medical will be requested from CIC after you submit your application.

Yes, spousal sponsorship can be submitted without a lawyer (a lot of us here have done it on our own), however you need to organise it properly and make sure you provide everything they ask and if you are not able to provide then give an explanation.

Considering this new rule we have no choice but to submit the application with the Fee and wait for CIC to tell us when to do Medical.

Can you please tell if there is no engagement pictures or emails or phone calls before wedding date, will CIC cause issue on it?

yes better ask ur sponsor to pay rprf right away, u nd ur spouse vl rec acknowledgement mail wid attaches receipt , do send it to the same email address u rec interview letter. Its strange u havnt rec med mail yet wait for a week nd remind them on d same email if u still didnt rec one. Beside diz i beleive u have already given ur consent to lvo for interview. So best of luck

I am trying to link my application to my account but it says no such file found. Can anyone please guide me where I am making a mistake? Instead of application number and last name I put Uci number and last name and the rest I did exactly the way explained here in the link.

1. Log in with GC Key account.
2. Permanent Residence > Family Class (Spouses)
2. Application Number and Family Name - Copy/pasted application number from email (including the F) and entered PA's last name.
3. City of Birth - I entered 1 space (hit spacebar once)
4. Country of Birth - Selected PA's country of birth
5. Passport Info - Did not enter any passport info
6. Other Application Info - Filled out the other application info as per our application and put '2' as the number of members in the application (Assuming 1 PA, 1 Sponsor, 0 dependents)

Your medical is already expired (3/29/2016). Maybe they have extended your medical or you will receive a re-medical request in the future.
