Hi friends,
i just got a letter for interview i am january 2016 applicant. They are asking for wedding and outing(honeymoon) pictures on the interview.
my question is how many pictures of mehindi, nikkah and walima should i take to the interview.
they are also asking for email or greeting cards but we communicate through whatsapp and skype. is it ok to take whatsapp and skype communicaion records.
my interview is on May 17, 2017 plz update

Take as many as u can, take pictures with both sides of the family & friends, pictures where bride and groom are happy and comfortable with each other. Keep in mind that the Visa Officer will make a decision on the basis of your answers and the evidence that you have provided. Good luck!

Definitely. If your sponsor is present at the interview it gives a positive impression to the Visa Officer that your sponsor flew in for your interview.
If your sponsor does come to be with you at the interview, do mention it to the VO.

I am canadian citizen, If my child is born abroad which we are expecting soon, and my wife's case is already in LVO. What will be status of my child? Child will be treated as Canadian citizen or I will have to include the child in application for PR. PLEASE REPLY IN DETAIL

Your child will be a citizen by birth (IF you were a naturalized citizen, or were born in Canada yourself) which I think is the case. You will need to apply for your kid's proof of citizenship.

If you acquired your own citizenship through descendency then your child wont be a citizen by birth. Canadian citizenship through descendency is only allowed till 1 generation.

Canadian security intelligence services performe security check on all individual requested by CBSA. It can take up to 4 months sometimes more.

security check is been in process since Nov 3rd.

take as many as u can, also take skype or video calls screenshots of both if any. Yes u can take wid u screenshots of skype nd whats app nd also personal some of ur texts msgs as well, bear in mind dnt stage those things nd also it wud b a plus if d record is not new. Best of luck

Hi all

I have few queries ;

A person I know from Tajikistan claims that he got married in his home country but he did upfront medical and paid all the fees such as landing fee, etc upfront also.

This way after marriage when he sponsored his wife, the time significantly reduced to 4 months till visa stamp.

Anyone seen such case for Pakistan also?

Secondly, Upfront medical in Islamabad is possible where?

Also I don't want to pay an agent fee so is the spousal application simple enough to be submitted by yourself?

Please note that we have issued medical instructions for you
(and your dependents). The issuance of these medicals does not guarantee the approval
of your application

Any updates, August applicants from Pakistan, any changes in GCKEY/ECAS?

Processing time period varies for each VO. Applications from Pakistan goes to the London Visa Office which takes between 7-10 months to process. You can pay RPRF upfront and submit the receipt with the application (this will save you time).

In the new rules, upfront medical is not possible as IOM will not give you an appointment without request from CIC. Therefore Police clearance Certificate & Medical will be requested from CIC after you submit your application.

Yes, spousal sponsorship can be submitted without a lawyer (a lot of us here have done it on our own), however you need to organise it properly and make sure you provide everything they ask and if you are not able to provide then give an explanation.
