i'm also curious about what the landing process is like just so i can prepare my wife for it if necessary. all i know at this point is that there's a CBSA officer who looks over the COPR, asks some questions and then gets you to sign some forms. what i'd like to know is what questions they ask.

if you haven't linked your app to MyCIC, then the re-med request will come from New Delhi. it's the same for all Pakistani applicants.

My wife is coming this Friday iA. All my research has shown in addition to what you said is that there should be 2 written lists. Once of things she brought with her, and values, for things like cutlery, and especially jewellery lists should have values and pictures of jewellery.

Second is goods to follow, approximate value of items you may want to bring in future ie furniture, cutlery, etc.

Both these lists serve for tax free purposes.

Hope everyone's doing good, great to see LVO catching up. Just got back from Pak trip last week and catching up on all the posts. My wife will be landing this Sunday, any tips for her preparation for arrival? I assume it is straight forward at the airport. Any members who recently landed can share their experience. My wife will be landing at Toronto-Pearson, I heard they process you fairly quickly?

I saw few posts mention PA-Put Away, it means that the officer has looked at the document and they don't need it anymore, they classify the document as PA-Put Away (it just means someone has looked at it and it is not just sitting there).

looked at documents means they assessed them or they dont need any other missing or updated document?

friends any idea do CPC-Mississauga send paper supporting docs to LVO by mail/post OR they just scan them and update on system for VO at LVO review?

I'm Nov 23 2015 applicant,got additional documents request July 26 2016..I send additional doc 26 August 2016...I'm living here in London visa office not far from my home...
LVO ask for English translation of nikahnama,communication proof,more pics and any visit of my wife...
My wife visited me twice in UK... so I send everything to VO...after that completely silence...I ordered notes OCT 5th and I got gcm notes Friday...I'm very much surprised to see that visa officer passed Eligibility on 31st August and after that final review made by different visa officer and he also passed eligibility on 4th Oct....he write notes about schedule A:no apparent concerns...and about criminalityakistan and U.K. Police certificate:no record....after that on 29th oct they put note we handed over doc OSU to handed over to me...but no doc received yet no ppr and e cas same in process...
My question is that my background check is finished or what?my cic shows nothing change same everything not started on my cic....why they are deliberately put wait for November applicants if everything is finished still
They are quite as I see all November and December applicants waiting without no means...
I think rest of November and December applicant files also done like me but VO is quite...so what they are waiting for any guess guys????

I wish we had answers for our questions. I mean if visa officer has any concern then ask us, send doc request, or at least say something. Keeping us in queue without any reason is not understandable.

what is means by PA put away and how we came to know about it..............?

PA = Put Away ...........thats what i asked from him

we can find this out by applying GCMS.

I need help please.. I sent enquiry email to LVO about my medical expiry... but they send follwoing email..

Dear Applicant,

Please note that all requested documents and information have been received and added to your file.

Your application is currently with an officer for review.

You mention your medicals are nearing expiry – please note we do not have any records of your completed medicals on our system. Please provide us proof of completion so the results can be associated with your application

but i have submitted medical twice and mentioned in my gcms notes as well.. how i should reply them...please help flx and landing pr

yes that means no crime record OSU is Operation Support Unit and they will send you documents

Hi,

How to create GC Key? I tried many times but got stuck even with TD Bank taking as partner. It is asking for Personal access number or employee insurance number etc which I don't have yet. If I go to PA page and apply they gave a message we are facing technical difficulties this time please apply late..
How to come over this issue? Any idea?

I've had a few issues logging in since creating my GC key account too. I've been successful getting through by just refreshing the page multiple times though. I know that's not the most helpful solution but it has worked for me most of the times. I'm not sure about the partner thing as I'm the PA so I've only recently created a new profile. Try clicking on the link below to create a new profile from the PA's side? Hope it works!

Finaly able to creat GC key and successfully linked the application to the account.
Below is the status at PA side:
Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not Started
Final decision Not Started
