I got my application number in that email and it said i could access info about my file.online as well. But when I put the file number and all the details, it says we are unable to locate ur file.

Guys urgent question . Vfs global lahore has put wrong date of birth for the tracking of passport as i send inquiry. I did email them that they need to correct it on their end . Will that be a problem on my visa

no, i don't believe so. the actual COPR and visa is issued by CHC Islamabad; VFS is just the courier.

to all the november and december applicants still waiting to hear back, have any of you ordered your GCMS notes recently? if not, i would suggest ordering them as soon as possible.

I just heard back from My MP....................
"So I just inquired with CIC about your spousal sponsorship. They are currently going through the eligibility review, meaning they are verifying all the information submitted in the application. Everything is moving along normally and they will contact once that review is done and they move along to the next stage. Because applicants from Pakistan for spousal take usually close to 24 months, there is still a fair bit of time."

Ordered 10 days ago. Even i sent them my new FBI certificate too

MPs just want to give you a preset response. When I called my MP, he said you won't hear anything for another 14 months. Then the next week I got re-Med and 3 weeks later PPR. They have no idea. Do not get disheartened by their talk.

You should contact your own MP as other area MPs will refuse to work with you, if you don't reside in their area.

one thing that really pisses me off about local MPs is that they simply will not acknowledge that the majority of pending files are simply sitting on a shelf somewhere
waiting to be reviewed. instead, they spin their words and give us a false impression that LVO is actively working on our files and that it's normal for pakistani apps to take this long to process.
after my file was transfered to LVO, it sat on a shelf for 7.5 months before someone bothered picking it up and looking at what's inside. during that whole time i was being told the exact same garbage, that eligibility is being reviewed and that it'll be finalized by december 2017. i'm grateful that's it's finally over for me, but then they keep doing the same thing to other applicants and i get pissed off all over again.
