Any August file transfer get reply from LVO?
Its been one month since they start working on July files but didnt move to August yet.

Not necessarily all july cases. My file remains untouched.

Its all random, mine was transferred on July 1st.

Does any one have a contact number for VAC ? Do we have to book an appoint before we go to give our passport?

Hopefully next would be passport request

I have heard that if they ask for more proofs of contact before the Remedical assessment then your case might be delayed. Does anyone know if it's true?

Well just got an email today. My file went in process on Jan 12, Decision made on feb 10 2015 and passport request just today. Thanks and hope it helps.

How did the things go before your first passport request? Did they ask your spouse for more proofs of contact, and afterwards a remedical?
My husband just had his remedical done, and his status says 'in progress'. How long does it usually take them to decide? I have heard that they can reject a case after the 'in process' stage?
Any help will be appreciated.

I have few quesions if someone can please answer:

1- Do we need vac appointment to go and submit passport for visa.
2- Doesnt the visa pictures need to be attestated.. I understand it needs to have the applicant name and file number on it but do the pics need to be attested as well?
3- Other than ( Appendix form, Pics, Passport, and PPR2... Does the applicant need to bring anything else to the VAC office)???

SONS Canadian Passport: OUr son has received his Canadian Citizenship certificate. Now we have to apply for Passport. When called the consulate in Karachi, the lady said that we will need to buy tickets in advance for the first passport application. But strange enough, when called the Lahore consulate, the gentleman that answered said that since your son has prove of citizenship, you dont need to buy the ticket in advance? Confused so PLEASE SOME ONE THAT HAS WENT THROUGH THE PROCESS PLZ HELP. ALSO......

1- Application requires both parents ID. How do I go about my id's from Canada???? Can I give my PAK ID's attested copy along application ????? OR ????

4. No Idea about the whole thing about passport and stuff

but instead of being confused, just buy the ticket in advance (as u will need it later as well) and apply for passport.
more questions will lead to more confusion.

1b. As you dont have a Canadian ID yet, then obviously your pak i.d (nic+passport) will work as requirement.

It doesnt make it weaker that is not what i said, it just causes further delays because the visa officer has to process further documentation when it isnt even need. Yes, WHEN asked you send additional proof. When it is not broken, don't fix it.

For the cases filed in 2014, i can say that its not been a year so u can rely on the already submitted proofs.. But there are people from 2012 and 2013 and they were being asked to submit proofs in order to show if the marriage is still ongoing. anyways you have your reasons to believe it as it would delay cases. i would suggest if you are not hearing for more than a year, you need to submit something atleast that would actually show your concern to vo somewhat.. Even if it delays the process for a few days. Although they would hold the files for another 30 days and then ask u to submit more things, rather why dont u do that voluntarily.
