Please go to the link and upload your files here. Once you submit, you will recieve an automated email. They wont reply you confirming that the proofs has been added to ypur application. You will have to order notes after a month or so to make sure that these are added.

According to my immigration lawyer, This is only for important changes, not for additional proof of the relationship. This could also be considered to delay your file. Additional details provided maybe used as a reason to reconsider the verdict on a particular file so it may propagate further delays. Just my two scents.

Additional details provided maybe used as a reason to reconsider the verdict on a particular file so it may propagate further delays. Just my two scents.

You dont. You do not send any further information until or unless asked for. You only use this form for making enquires of an urgent nature, for instance not receiving correspondence from the visa office after having waited for a duration which exceeds the time mentioned on their website.

My wife just received her original Nikka certificate and some Educational documents we had sent along with our file.
She received them in the mail today from London.
What does this mean?
Did anyone else receive some documents back?

This is normal, original documents are usually sent back to the applicant after the visa officer is done validating them.

Hello all!
So as I posted before I was confused about getting a response on where my file is and if the email I received is AOR, etc.
I called cic today and the agent confirmed that what I received was the AOR. I asked whether my file had been transferred yet and the agent said that my file is still being processed so it's still in Mississauga. She said that since it has been past the standard processing time she will send them a message to see what's going on.
Has anyone gone through this before? Is this ok/ normal??

Any help would be really appreciated!

Not entirely true, I know a couple cases that were asked to send additional proof (of travel and visit etc) before the final decision is made otherwise the office has the right to refuse the case.

Honestly, think about it. how can additional proof of a person going to visit his/her spouse make a case weaker? It only adds to that case

It doesnt make it weaker that is not what i said, it just causes further delays because the visa officer has to process further documentation when it isnt even need. Yes, WHEN asked you send additional proof. When it is not broken, don't fix it.

Its been one month since they start working on July files but didnt move to August yet.
