Did you apply already for sponsorship? When did you apply? Did you apply outland? Which Visa Office?
Where is she from?
There it may be a way, but you should give more detail

Well I am just engaged now I don't think I can apply for it right? I need a marriage certificate first and that is what we were planning to get but uncle got sick with cancer so we were waiting to see until he can do it after he is out or else I just need to go get it finalized over the summer whether my uncle feels better and gets it done now or not I am not sure, I am currently in Canada and she is over there... If I get it finalized over their file the sponsorship when I come back could I still bring her I am legally married by Libyan law but I don't know if they will accept that but anyway can't I can bring her with me under a temporary visa or something?

So, I guess she is from Libya...
Have you consider applying as a common-law partner?
You need to have lived at least 1 year together
I guess she can always apply for a visitor visa, and enter Canada with that. She will have to show proof that she will come back to her country of origin. You can apply online for this kind of visa.
Good luck to your uncle
I also need help in this situation. Married to Man from Libya Currently living in Europe while he is doing studies, Have not yet done a civil ceremony , Can someone please tell me how hard it is going to be to get him to Canada ,I want to get back to my children and Grand kids . But I refuse to go back without him ... We have a Immigration Lawyer hired . But need to wait on a marriage cert to proceed.. My mom has recently sent us a Invitation letter for us to visit . What kind of problems are about to face? Please Help :-[
Your husband should certainly try to apply for a TRV but there is no guarantee he will be approved. If he's not approved and you don't want to be separated from him, they you will have to wait out the processing of his application outside of Canada and won't be able to move to Canada until his visa is approved. You can find processing times here:

Depending on your future spouse's country of origin (visitor visa rules etc) it's TOTALLY possible. Your spouse can stay with you in Canada, while you wait the process for the duration of their visitor's visa! (meaning, they can visit you, as in, not overstay their tourist / visitor visa and/or work)
Some countries allow 6 months tourist visas upon arrival (no-pre visa applications etc), just show up the airport, with a return ticket, explain your circumstances, and assure the immigration officer that you are only visiting your spouse until the expiration of your tourist visa. While you are in country, you can apply for permanent residency etc.
Make sure to check your spouse's country and what their tourist (visitor's) visa allows. eg, if you are allowed 6 months visa-exemption etc
