You are absolutely right. Last year, it opened in May so it can open at same time as well in this year. I feel the pace is slow in the beginning of the year for whatsoever the reason may be.
I have submitted both SINP express and on-demand profile for Jan 2017. My question is that should I withdraw on-demand and continue with express. Or I can wait until receive letter from SINP to withdraw one of the application. Has anyone face similar issue?
Thanks for the information. But my question is different. If I create two separate profile for EE and IOD.. is there any difference in two profile ? Any specific information I need to mention or skip for IOD application... As I have already created application EE..
I applied for PR through CIC after receiving ITA via SINP Express Entry on August 26th 2016. My status changed to "In progress" on August 30th and Medical changed to Passed on August 28th. Since then haven't seen any updates neither received any email from CIC. My nomination certificate expires Jan 17th 2017. Should I apply to SINP to extend my nomination?

How long should the IELTS be valid for SINP EE and OID applications? Is it until you submit the application for PR or until you receive the AOR. Because for EE, submitting the PR application and receiving the AOR happens more or less quick. Can anyone explain the IELTS validity for both EE and OID? I'm concerned as my IELTS is expiring this May and I've missed to apply when it opened this month.

Ashu, can you please elaborate on your statement on "CIC stage"? For OID, should IELTS be valid until you send all the docs to Nova Scotia or till you get the AOR? From what I heard, the AOR will take at least 3 months to reach us as it is paper based application. You have also faced a similar situation, I suppose.

Only reaching is sufficient with valid IELTS . I can tell this with full confidence because I have lost my 5 months due to this issue, after getting Nomination. I didn't enclose my IELTS copy with my OID packet of Sydney . They sent my package after 3 months with a note " if your application only reaches our office with valid dates then everything will be all right , like Nomination etc.' During this period, my IELTS was expired. I have sent it with updated IELTS and delivered on 3 Nov.

Ashu, from Nov 3 CIC never open your application? indeed it will take 3 months before they touch paper based appli..
I just submitted mine on Jan 8 , expect it with them tomorrow...
based on the processing - AOR will be received only on April 08 (3 months) .. OMG...
