Is it normal to not receive any correspondence email after application is submitted and application number is allotted?

My friend has submitted application last night in EE stream but he didn't received any acknowledgment email yet. Is it normal?

What i know, correspondence of acknowledgment comes immediately.

I got my confirmation email around 3 hours after successful submission for SINP EE

Yes, it was May. But this year competition is very tough. OID Application 500 quota completed within an hour, and EE 500 quota also in few hours. Last year that happened in some days.

Thanks for your reply. I think last year in january it was more than 500 seats in comaprison to this year only 500 for ee and oid. What do you think? that can be one of the reason

No, the speed was too fast this year as compare to previous. Why didn't you last year, from Jan. to Nov.

My EE profile is logged with (2281 & 2147)

I have bachelors degree in computer science and 10 + years of work experience.
7.5 years in 2281 (Computer network technicians) 2006-2013
rest all in 2147 (Network Engineer) (Current) 2013-till Date)


My present profile since last 3+ years, is Networks Manager which is quite similar to 2147, 0213 & 2171 (0213 & 2171 is required in SINP relating to my experience)

Will i be able to apply for Saskatchewan Express entry with my current profile or do i have to change my NOC code to 2171 or 0213 ??
Job duties are more or less same, which can be altered.

I need your advice guys.

I applied for OID couple of months ago and recently for EE. I mentioned in my EE application that if I could apply for EE, I will withdraw one of my applications.
Now I got a doc request letter for my OID application. However, I will withdraw this application soon because I want to keep my EE application as it will be much more faster in processing.
My concern is if I withdraw my OID now, they might think I didn't want to provide those information that they asked for and this might affect my EE application! Am I right? But I can provide all docs they asked for and it's just the matter of money and time which I don't have much as a current student.
So do you think if I withdraw my OID now, i will be ok? Any similar experience?

I have applied SINP EE on 4th Jan. But my EE applicaton is getting expired by April 1st. Will there be any problem if my EE expires before or after nomination,
Please help in this regards
