well, this name was coined back in 2017 when i joined this forum (sort of means let (or i wish that) Canada happen(s)!). i still remember the whatsapp groups and forums and trackers from those days. the same excitement starts again! it was quite a ride when someone (or many) with similar timeline would go to the next stage like receiving an email or an update in the account, and those behind in the queue would get all anxious, refreshing their mailboxes and IRCC accounts 10 times/minute!
From the generic trend, it takes a min of 3 work days to get AOR. Following August's example. An average 5 days to AOR. Lets hope by the end of the week/next week we see some AORs flying.

Any idea how long the wait is going to be from here(provided all paperwork is in order ofcourse)? The IRCC site says it takes 26months but I am seeing folks on this forum completing the process in less than 6 months! What am I missing here?

CIC will give you the typical/promised timeline. but i have been going thru spreadsheets from Jan to July - time from delivery to AOR has come down from 1.5 months to max a week, IP test to invite has come down from 3 months to 2 - 3 weeks. These are the biggest contributors to our timelines. but even with max time being taken in Jan this year, it was never 26 months but around 12.
