My application should be delivered on 7th (as the canada post tracker says) I thought xpresspost was faster than that but I guess not. In the mean time I have already started preparing for my test optimism and also keeping busy trying not to think about any delays.

it didnt want validate, so i print it without validation its possible.

anyway the barcode is only for sensitive information, they can be wrote manually.. and i never heard of someone have his application returned because of no validation, if his form is complete.

Sure, let’s see what happens to your application - I don’t think there’s been any precedent so would be a good case study.

Guys don't apply online. If you're about to apply for your citizenship don't make the mistake of applying online. It is a scam system and your application will be stuck. I didn't know and applied online in February and now I'm stuck. Don't be deceived by how easy it is to apply online. Go paper guys

I wish I had known this back in April, when I applied. Now it is too late to cancel that application and file a new paper one.

From what we are seeing there is a lot of progress on both application types now. Not a debate here though. Hopefully yours goes smoothly as well.

Submitted online application on 8.28 and received an email requesting me to provide police certificate. However my last continuous stay outside of Canada was only 180 days during the past 4 years. I then submitted a web form stating my detailed timelines and requesting a confirmation if the police certificate is required or not.

Has anyone encountered similar issues? How long would I expect to get a response to the web form?

The police certificate is for Hong Kong.
