Hi! Sent in on Friday the 11th by Canada Post courier, delivered on the 14th. And now we wait, I guess. Has any of you applied for a visitor record/extension? My OWP is about to expire in two weeks and I'm not sure what to do.
Late February/early March applicants are just having their applications start the initial processing. Expect a few more months at least before you hear anything from Mississauga.

Did you send an OWP application in with your PR application? I am on a visitor visa but am not sure yet if I want to apply for an extension. Technically I don't have to because I am in status with the pending OWP but if it runs into any issues I could be in trouble if I haven't extended my visitor visa. I have a friend who was on OWP when she applied for PR and her packet got lost, they had to resubmit 3 months later and were on a very tight timeline because her OWP was about to expire as well.

When I consulted with a lawyer at the beginning of this she told me not to apply for a visitor visa (that not reapplying was a perk of doing the inland application), but given the long timelines we're in now it may just be a couple hundred $$ for peace of mind just in case it goes awry. I have about a month still before I have to send one in if I'm going to do it. I'm curious to hear from others about if they have extended or not!

Is there anyway I can link my application with the online account to follow their status?
I try to link it but it shows that they couldnt find my application. Is it because they havent start reviewing my application?
