Ecas shows Decision Made

hello guys for the urgent processing Do you need to get hired by CAF to get the letter from them or they can provide you letter even before you get hire?Please help thanks

There was some discussion about this before :

However, I also recall there was a post that said CAF doesn't provide any letters of support for urgent processing (but I can't find that link).

You'll have to make-do with the documents you already have (like the job position requirements that show the need for Canadian citizenship, your academic documents that show that you are eligible to apply for that position etc) IF you don't get a letter from CAF.

I haven't received any instructions yet..
1.when will I receive the test instructions?

Could you please provide an update on this? What was your test window? When did you receive the test email? Also, if you've already taken the test - Could you please provide the date, thank you!

Thanks Raj. I went thru entry of UCI (option 1) then your numbers are correct 1 4 1 1 .. but I keep being told 'for status check online or call back later'. It's been 3 days and can't get thru. Any other option or trick to get thru to an agent ?

Uh, no. If there are too many people in the queue, then you'll get that message. I was greeted with that message many a time.

Asking for a friend. Citizenship application filed in. Sept 2020 and only background verification is complete. Language skills, physical presence and prohibitions is "in progress". Citizenship test and citizenship ceremony "not started". Applicant is a 60 yr old refugee holding a PR since 2015. Do you know what's the usual timeline for adults/seniors? As he won't need to give language skills. Let me know thanks

An update today: physical presence, prohibitions, language skills all set to completed. Status is still “in progress” and ceremony not started. Hopefully I get DM soon!

Your friend already has "Decision Made". Seniors don't need to take the test OR demonstrate language skills. Since Prohibitions and Physical Presence are set to "Completed", this is Decision Made. Ask your friend to check ECAS status.

From here on, the time to oath varies. Expect at least a couple of months from now to get an oath notification to avoid disappointment.

You've already got Decision Made. The new dashboard will never show "Decision Made" status. You'll see "Decision Made" on ECAS .

You're in line for oath now.
