Guys ,
One of my friend got his application returned as incomplete because he missed one tick mark in question 16 . Application date : September 9 , 2020.
Q16 has 15 yes and no questions however sometimes printer does not print one yes and no which makes 14 yes and no instead of 15...eventually making it an incomplete app.

I got the same issue, app looks all good in digital form, but if you don't print the whole app all together, for example, if you just print one of the pages to update things on one page, the checkbox might be missing.
Then I got incomplete application(delivered in July, returned in Oct)

Did you added just 1 page with updated 15 questions on page 5 .
Fee receipt was stapled by case processing centre with your returned application ?
Thanks
Are we getting info of anyone who applied in September and got their application returned? August people are getting aor, im assuming some september people should be getting returns in case their application wasnt complete
Well, my guess is that a couple of people already got their applications back but have not reported it on the tracker yet.
Or maybe... just maybe... Everyone triple checked their application and no one made the mistake of forgetting a check box or submitting incorrect documents..
We'll know in December (or in Jan because the officers might be going on long vacation next month)

The form has several problems. Q16 is very hard to detect because everything looks good while one of the questions under Q16 gets printed with one check box instead of 3 check boxes. 2 of the check boxes won't even get printed so unless you work really hard and compare every line on the hardcopy with the soft copy, you won't detect the problem.
IRCC should be more responsible than this and fix the issues with that pdf.

The reason why many people have issues with prints is because most government forms use legal not letter paper size. Solution - print legal or fit to size option while printing. Good luck
While I agree with you in principle, the real solution is to not have a paper-based form for this in the first place. It’s ridiculously archaic to do things this way in an age where multi-million dollar contracts and quotes are processed with digital forms, PDFs and Docusigned.
