I am paperbased Aug submission with Sept 2022 AOR
Everything is green since Feb 2022 except Oath ceremony .
I never heard anything about fingerprint request.
When it happens and is it mandatory for all applicants

If you are only waiting for Oath, you wont get fingerprint request.

I applied in 2021 and only have the Citizenship Test status marked as completed.
Everything else is still "In Process". It is terrible how they treat the process and respond to people's dreams.

I have tried to call them and also tried the ATIP (https://atip-aiprp.tbs-sct.gc.ca/) and no luck so far.
Not sure what I can do, but this is bizarre... My wife applied one year later than me and she is already a citizen by now.

Is there something else I can do or "just wait"?

This sucks, especially when people from January 2023 are getting oath invites. Current processing time is 21 months I believe. If you are already past 21 months, I suggest you go and talk to your MP about it. Sometimes it helps when they inquire.

It's funny because I have already tried talking to MP Anju Dhilon and no answer got so far. I think I have tried all the options available on the table and nothing works..

Reach out to MP office again once 21 months are over.They should be more helpful IMO.

I see you had done FP. It expires after a year. You have to do it again.

Same happened to me back in October 2022 I kept waiting till March 2023 and submitted the finger prints again based on first letter but a week later in March got FP letter again but had already submitted by then.

I just received my ATIP and according to the document I have this situation:

Type: Elegibility - Residence
Due date: 2022/10/10
Status: Not Started

Type: Elegibility - Language
Due date: 2022/10/10
Status: Not Started

Type: Elegibility - Prohibitions
Due date: 2022/10/10
Status: Not Started

I don't know if they care about the due date, but apparently not.

Anyone in the same boat or recently had an interview? Please share your experience.

Also, what chances of having an oath after the interview?
