Started Processing : Dec 17th 2018
Medical request: Jan 4th 2019
Medical passed: Jan 25th 2019
Pre- Arrival: April 13th 2019
Background Check - Started : April 20th 2019.

No update after April 20th. How long does the Background check take?

Hope i get PPR soon .

Background Check - Status changed From "We will let you know when we Start your background check" .
TO " We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

Happy for you and obviously hoping that since our timelines are so close, ours is not far off. Though on ours they haven’t indicated background check starting yet so who knows. Anyway good news!

Sponsor received an email about the app being transferred to the London Visa Office in the last few days. BGC and eligibility review being processed now according to GCKey. Timeline below:

App received: Sept 13th 2018
AOR: Dec 19th 2018
Sent to secondary review: Jan 4th 2019
Biometrics request: Apr 25th 2019
Medical request: Apr 25th 2019
SA: Apr 25th 2019
Medical passed: Thu 9th May 2019
Biometrics completed: Thu 9th May 2019
Transfer to LVO: Thu 24th May 2019

Booked a flight back in July so fingers crossed!

Bear in mind that once the application is transferred to LVO, it may easily take up to 6-7 months for the DM to come through. My application was transferred to LVO and I'm also still waiting for any sign of life. You can enter Canada under the so called "dual intent" but that's a whole other story...

not sure about the PPR thing.. could be a month or 2
I really hope for all of us who are waiting, everything starts to move soon .
I know the pain of waiting !!
I had an email to say that I have a letter awaiting on my account. When checked GC key it was a pre arrival service letter
