"we use exchange rate on the day of AOR to determine eligibility. so if the difference is not much, you should be fine. however, visa officer might ask for updated POF is there is larger difference."

Currency fluctuations are a serious bummer. I am so disappointed in myself that my application is still pending because of just "200 CAD" which is not a lot as compared to 12475 CAD.

I Ordered a GCMS on my application and saw that I had review required for POF the difference is $21. I took the initiative to use the web form to update my POF and attached with it a bank letter and currency exchange rate from a trusted website, the next day I got a response saying they had received it and had forwarded it to the case officer in Ottawa. At this time I'm waiting on God and them to finalise my application.

But it's good that you submitted all the documents proactively.
I am in the same boat, just waiting for an officer to review my file and take a decision.
In the LOE, I mentioned in bold the exchange rate for that day from the sites that IRCC reportedly uses so that they don't miss it again.
