7 months completed.. Still waiting for DM. ;(

Hi hs64, hi everyone,

I'm from Manila, and my husband lives in Winnipeg. Here is our "status" (In Process)

1. Received application for PR on Sept.24,2015
2. Sent us correspondence acknowledging receipt of our applications on Dec 14, 2015
3. They started processing our application on Dec 8, 2015
4. Medical results have been received

5. Got an email on Dec 14, 2015 asking for additional docs such as ID of my ex-husband and stamps from my old passports since I worked in Japan before. was able to give them what they were asking on Dec 22, 2015

After that, just SILENCE.

I know I should not be worrying but I still am. I hope we could get some results by now because we're already on our 7th month.. It's normal that we're not hearing from them, right?

Thank you so much for taking time to read

Awesome cool.. Congrats.. Yesterday we got the 6th line added(PPR Letter they sent on April).

Has any other applicant that just received PPR noticed that there's an expiry of the visa on the 3rd page of the letter.. Mine says "Your visa(s) will expire on 2016/08/17" which is the date my medical will expire. Does this equals to a DM?
of course it's DM your visa is 100% approved and will expire on that indicated date, send your passport as soon as possible and start buying your ticket to canada and land before 2016/08/17.
Congratulations and welcome to Canada!!!!!!!!

Thanks again for clarifying my question and thank you for the congrats and welcoming... We wish you a speedy processing and lots of blessings..

We sent the application on Sept 21.2015. Received on Sept 24. We were notified that my husband was qualified as sponsor on Dec 8, I got an email on Dec 14 from Manila asking for my ex-husband's ID and my old passports. Was able to give them what they needed on Dec 22. A representative accepted on Dec 23.. and then silence hahaha

Your ex-husbands ID?? Really? That seems strange and slightly worrying as a divorcee myself I have no idea where my ex is, nor am I even in Canada to attempt to find out.

Hi :)

I think my situation is kinda different with yours. We don't have divorce here. Just annulment. And my ex-husband allowed my son to travel with me so we had this certain paper signed by my ex. Unfortunately, my ex gave me an invalid ID that's why VO in Manila asked for a new one.

Oh okay, phew. Good to hear. I'm assuming based off your forum name you're headed to winnipeg? That's where I'm from, and we'll be heading once we're done :)
