Aha, the question is more of Any News at all? I have noticed we all have been very quiet- and i guess its because we all going thru the same right now - The Wilderness of Waiting-

I see quite a number of august Applicants going to In Process and DMs. Makes me feel , it would be our turn by next month or early March... Till then .. Hang In Tight guys ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

It means you had paid some extra money when submitted the fee :) They have also refunded us extra money..

But i paid 1040. sponsor, PA and RPRF. All 1,040. AM i right?
 
That's how much I paid as well :) I just checked my account I don't see any money to be return. Well I would take this as good news for you guys, it seems that CIC is actually working on your applications :)

We added our baby,my visa office said sponsor shud inform mississauga. He did, on sponsor's ecas its said correspondence sent 24th december. But he hasn't received anything. Like really its been sent to Toronto, whatever instructions they sent, its not on the post yet. Thought a week should be enough, we on the 3rd week now. All we can think of its the holidays. :(

My husband got the PPR via email on January 7th :) Thankfully for our nerves and such, the interview got completely waived, there were no requests for additional documents, etc.

He just mailed his passport in through the embassy in Belgrade, so he should be receiving the COPR within the next week or so (via Vienna office)! ;D

How long does Vienna VO takes normally from file sent to VO till completed??
 
@ElaBella Congratulations. Interviews definitely make me nervous :( I hope that our application can move forward smoothly with no delays or interviews.

Can someone explain to me what is ppr, aor, and copr? I am new to this ???

AOR- Acknowledgment of receipt
PPR- passport request
COPR- confirmation of permanent residence

Thanks everyone! It definitely has us speechless - it took all of 3.5 months since the application actually arrived in Ottawa!

Vienna usually takes an average of 6 months, but there have been a few applicants that have been on hold for almost a year. Their average processing time was listed as 16 months (before they changed to unified processing times online).

I truly hope everyone's applications are being processed quickly and that all of the spouses can get here sooner rather than later :)
