ECAS updated with MR recieived about 1 months after done.

Well I will tell you an interesting thing I noticed , I order GCMS notes on 16th Oct and it was processed on 17th ( Data was retrieved) and I got PPR on 23rd OCT and ecas status changed to decision made.

I received GCMS notes on NOV 17 ( 1 month) its same and there was no update on it as compared to earlier GCMS notes , May be security was updated as I can't see it .

But I feel don't underestimate CIC , Best of Luck

The response I received from my query to CIC was that after initial assessment has been finalized, my application was transferred to case processing center in Ottawa on Mar 28,2014 and the center in Ottawa is 13 months for this category. So I sm guessing it is 13 months from Mar 28. In that case I need to wait till Apr 2015. My BOWP will expire in Mar 2015. I will wait till Feb and apply for 2nd BOWP if no progress on the PR by then .

Yeah but the strange thing is that the medical status has been updated but no RPRF as of yet. It's been quite a few days since I got my medicals done.

Well, as per my understanding, once they receive RPRF they will put you in next batch of PPR... so when ever they run the batch you will receive it... I am also done with MR and RPRF .. so i hope we will get PPR in same batch... I am assuming they will run batch at month end... so wait for 10 days.... hopefully we will get it...Best of luck..

Anything from 1 month to 1 year.

(Usually between 1 or 2 months.)

Hi All

In my ECAS status, my "Permanent Card" application has been activated and it says "In Process". Does that mean I am going to get my card in like "5-10" days. Would this be a reasonable expectation? CIC always proved me wrong though
