Application received: September 27, 2013
AOR : November 13, 2013
Medicals Requested : April 11, 2014
Medicals Completed : August 30, 2014
Medicals Received : September 16, 2014
Passport requested : October 6, 2014

Thanks guys for all the help.

Btw... I have been blessed with a girl baby.

hey guys.. Good news.. got PPR for my wife from New Delhi visa office just now. i requested cpc on 26th sep to print it for my wife in delhi.

Hi Naval....Need some help from you as i am also in same position as you. My wife is in India and need to get her COPR stamped from her once i get my PPR. My questions are did you inform in mail to CIC about sending your wife's passport to New Delhi and how did you send the passport to Newdelhi. is it through VFS or just sent it to the canada embassy in Delhi. How long did it take to get back your Passport for Otawa and newdelhi

My daughter received her renewed passport
Do i need to send any explanation note to CIC now?
or
Just send her both old and her current renewed passport for visa?

Any ideas?

I scanned my child's updated passport, sent it to CIC with a short cover letter to explain what I was doing. They have updated my child's passport accordingly.

You see? Your application was done in the 13 month expected timeline, no need to worry!!!

Now recharge for the waiting of the Permanent Residence Card (once you complete your landing) ;D

For those of you who applied for your BOWP online I can share this experience. I filed mine on Sept.23 and have since received 2 emails after the initial flurry saying that the application has been updated. When I went to see what the updates were I found this:

Application Status Open
Review of medical results Not needed at this time
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
Review of biometric information Not needed at this time
A final decision has been reached Not Started

Which is to say, no change at all I called CIC after the 1st email to ask what the update was and they said that if an officer even looks at the file without making any changes it will generate that email. He also said the turn around time for online applications is almost 4 weeks now, which is quite a bit longer than the 7 days advertised on the CIC website.

Anyway, that's all I've got for now. Still showing 'decision made' on ECAS (as of Oct. 6th). Still waiting for the BOWP to arrive in the mail.
