Got passports back today from VFS Riyadh, with Visa stamped and COPR !
VFS received them from the embassy on 4/10/2015,
but only sent me mail today morning !
Post submission it was weekend, so the Canadian embassy actually did it in 1 Day !
Best of luck for all those still waiting.

Hello,
I got my IDL last month and used it in Canada upon landing, I got mine from SATA Riyadh, you can check their location in Jeddah from the website below.

Guys
Info for those needing Saudi PCC, Riyadh region.
Go to the welfare officer in your embassy with copies of passport, iqama and photos.
They will issue a stamped letter on there letterhead (in Arabic).
Take this and the original Iqama to MOFA for certification and approval (SAR 30 each).
MOFA timings 0700 to 1400, with long queues and wait times (they will stamp and sign it on the spot).
Next go to إدارة الأدلة الجنائية البصمات (crime branch of shurta) located on "Ash Shaikh Muhammad Ibn Ibrahim" road
between batha and salaam park. Coordinates are 24.627649, 46.715840
There they have separate offices for ladies and gents. (Timings are 0700 to 1400)
Documents required (the approved letter from MOFA + Original passport + Original Iqama + 2 photos) No charges.
They will do finger printing, and you will get a receipt for pickup with a date (usually 5 days).
Hope this is of help to those in need of a Saudi PCC,
as i recently went through the process.
hey guys,
I have received a request for the PCC which I need to fill and then go to MOFA to get it attested.
They have asked to fill in NAME, Nationality, DATE and passport number.
Now a little confused. Should the name be the same as on the iqama because in my iqama they have added my fathers name after my full name as they normally do there.
Also my passport number contains numbers as well as letters.
Now is it ok that the letter in the passport number be in english and the number in arabic or all should be in arabic completely.
help please,
confused.

- Use your name as in passport and not as in Iqama. I had the same issue.
- Enter the passport number along with letters as is in English
- Enter the hijri date in Arabic.
All the best

Write your name ,passport number and nationality on that Arabic paper,do same for ur spouse if u hv.take this to mofa with original passport and iqama and copies and get attested it by mofa.tgen take this to police station early in morning with original iqama and ppt and their copies and 1 pic.they wil take ur finger prints and ask u to come after 2 weeks.when u get pcc then translate it with notarized translation and then send to LVO but b hurry.
There is 1 main police station headquarter in dammam which gives pcc in 1 week.also check that when if u can as u hv less time
Dear Sir,
I have got the same request also with spaces left blank,
I am also confused as to whether the complete should be filled in arabic or english?
The directions that come with the paper state it has to be in arabic.
As you know the passport number contains alphabets as well as numbers.
I have posted a query before and gotten answer as follows,
Name: arabic
pasport number as it appears in english.
date in higri in arabic.
so hopefully going to do the same.

You have to hand write your name and Passport number in the blanks. after that u have to attest this letter from MOFA.
Take this attested letter to police office along your valid IQama, they will take your finger prints and after 1 week you will get your PCC from the same police station.
Dear Sir,
the handwritten details have to be in arabic or english?
The instructions along wwith the generic letter mentions they have to be in arabic.
thansk for the help.

It doesnt matter if you write your Iqama Name on the request letter or your passport Name. The Police Office will Issue you PCC based on your Iqama Details. Later when you translate, you can request the translator to put your passport Name while translating Documents.
Make sure you write your Name ,and other details in Arabic with a black pen (Advisable) on the request letter.
After taking your fingerprints, they will issue you a slip mentioning the date to collect your PCC. Dates will be in hijri so you can convert to Gregorian Calendar convertor to know the exact date of collection.
Process is a breeze. Relax.

Dear All,
Reference to PCC in Riyadh:
Please note that MOFA does not accept the copy sent by LVO requesting PCC certificate. They ask for original from Embassy. So please do not waste your time going to MOFA with copy received from LVO. You can have two ways:
1. Send an email to Canadian Embassy in Riyadh @
[email protected] , attach the letter received from LVO along with copies of your and your wife PP and Iqama and ask them to issue you a reference letter from Saudi Authorities for PCC. They will respond to you in 48 hours and you can go and collect your letter from Canadian Embassy in Riyadh, take it to MOFA, get attested and follow the process outlined by other friends of going to Dheera etc....
2. I obtained a letter from my Pakistan Embassy(1 FOR ME, 1 FOR MY WIFE FROM WELFARE SECTION), got it attested from MOFA, took it to police station in Dheera, did finger prints etc and got the slip to collect the PCC in few days time. I am not sure though if LVO will accept this PCC which is requested from Pakistan Embassy. Any one knows this??????????????, coz PCC will most probably mention that it was requested from Pakistan Embassy and not Canadian Embassy. Any idea guys?????\
