@mailvdutt, Never ever withdraw an application, if you have physical presence of 1095 days, it proves them they did right by issuing you RQ. In second RQ you do not need to send that many documents. In my RQ(only first), I just send my t4 and house property taxes and my transcripts for the university that I attended thats it. for 4 years there were some 12 documents in total, may be like some 40 pages. you do not need to send tons of documents to prove your residency.
Today i had called CIC, as i wanted to send my kids & wife US entry/exit documents(which i received after 6 months).
They informed that my application was moved to Mississauga(my local Office) from st clair about two weeks ago.I should be sending my documents to local office .
So i am hoping i should get Test Invite soon.

My file was in St clair for 9 months.
Also i wrote email to chris alexander on 15-april2015, about frustration for no movement in my file for 9 months.

You seem to have applied only last year.... so its difficult. but lets stay positive........

Hi. my file stay with st.clair office for two years than now CIC saying they have
transfer to scarborough office ?? CIC required security clearance than next step...
total waiting time 40 months.

Maybe because it is an election year it actually helped. Especially if you mention to him that you have family members who are already Canadian citizens
