Hey Guys.
Landed August 4th, asked for pics Sept 29th, They received pics Oct 5th. Hope the pics are fine now but my question is how do I link the applications in my cic to check?

Easy!
Go to your GCKey account ( make one if you don't have it already. ) then there is a blue box saying Link My Application. Proceed and go through other steps.

I landed on the 23rd September but no approval or photo request yet. Anyone in my shoes?

Anybody here whose photo were received after 6th oct? I know shiiinjiiim were received on 16th oct. Just wanted to know which day are cic processing now. Last read it was 6th oct which was approved.

Is it mandatory to send the new photos to CIC only via Canada post or we can use DHL or FedEx?

I used Canada Post. I don't think they say HOW you send them.

This link doesn't show the approved application. This is different from the GCKey account.
Provide the required information in the fields then proceed. You should see something like Decision Made or Complete.

Oh I guess you thought I am talking about PR card application. Actually I’m talking about PR application. That story happened to my PR application during this PR Card application.

Is it that CIC will only approve the photos (whether those on COPR or submitted in the re-submission request) if they are taken in Canada or US? A few people I talked to said this to me. Any idea if the photos taken outside of Canada or US got approved for PR Card application?

I don't know about this photo acceptance theory , but photos taken in Chennai were not accepted by CIC. We atlast end-up sending new photos taken in Canada.

Yes i know people from India and Nigeria whose photos were taken in their respective countries and were approved by CIC.
