Ok, but in my case, the worry is if they don't send such mails and still keep the applications for PR cards for my family including mine pending for the photos being rejected. I won't be able to come to know as I will be out of Canada and I can't dial CIC number to check the status. Given this, what should I do?

You have 2 options:
1. Use the webform to contact them http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp
2. Call IRCC through this number +1 613 944 4000

Hey guys, found online service page and trying to fill my UCI# and confirmation of landing#. The result says not found.....is it because there will not be updates after my permanent residence application approved? BTW, MY is BC PNP+EE
