Just by looking at how many days it is taking other folks in this forum to get their PR cards approved - which is 18-19 days after CIC receives the additional photos. In some corner case scenarios I have seen otherwise, but majority follow this rule.
Also, my own photos reached on 5th March and my PR card got approved on 23rd March (18 days). My wife's photos reached on 8th March and her PR card got approved today (19 days).
No, calling them and asking for processing date will get you an answer of 16th Feb. But if your application has been received in March and has got approved, they will confirm that. I know it is stupid and they realize it too, but the contact center has no other info to give.

I think you should not worry till they ask you for more additional photos. I had a chat with the contact center person and he mentioned that some cases could be delayed (maybe yours is one). However, if they are not happy with the photo they will keep asking you till they get the right pic.
If you have to travel out and get in Canada again, you can easily get the PRTD doc. So don't worry .... good luck

Yes, i have also waited for 30min or more to chat with an agent. I am in the UK right now, so my call does not connect if i call thru a normal phone. I used to use Google Hangout call ... which is free. Used to walk away and finish other stuff while the wait time is on
