Hello,

As I've already mentioned my writing score went from 6.5 to 7.5 after EoR and I got results within a week (AEO-Pakistan). My brother appeared in August and he got the same result (L 8.5, R 8.5, S 7.5 W 6.5).. He applied for EoR 2 weeks back and got TRF back today and writing score changed from 6.5 to 7 (AEO - Pakistan, again)

So, yes there are two success remark stories within my home and I recommend anyone confident in his/her writing to go for EoR.

I applied EOR for writing on 13th Nov in Riyadh, KSA. I scored 6.5 in writing, waiting for the result. Does anybody else from here applied and received the results?

Alhamdhulillah..

After a long wait of almost 12 weeks, I got my writing score increased from 6.5 to 7.0.
The delay in processing time was testing my patience, however a big relief now.

My new IELTS score:

Listening 8.0
Reading 7.0
Writing 7.0
Speaking 7.5
Overall Band Score 7.5

Now I can say good bye to IELTS.. Thanks for the support and wish all the rest of you waiting for EOR, Best of Luck.

Congrats. Did you receive any acknowledgement email from British Council after submitting TRF for EOR? I submitted mine on 13th Nov in Riyadh and haven't received any acknowledgement email.

Hi Shaizee,

I also applied for writing eor last week. They will send you text message saying your draft and rechecking request is received and it shall take up to 8 weeks.

Though I have heard from few people they don’t get any message and directly results after 8 weeks.

Can any one tell what’s the average time to receive the rechecked results. Do they notify us with results before sending trf?

I have applied for a re-check (Sent via post on 27/11/17).

My scores were:

Reading: 9
Listening: 8.5
Speaking: 8.5
Writing: 6.5

Hoping to hear something positive in 10 weeks of time.

Dear, could you please help me to understand my IELTS points for FSW:

Reading - 7 Bands - 6 points
Speaking - 6.5 Bands- 5 points
Listening - 6 Bands- 4 points
Writing - 6 Bands- 4 points
Overall - 6.5 - TOTAL 19 points

Now, how many points I will be getting in ielts i.e. 16 or 18 or 19. I am really confused.

Any updates ? I am still waiting & it's already 9th week since I filed EOR

Nothing yet. In the meantime, I sat for another IELTS. This time I've got stuck in writing with LRWS- 9 8.5 6.5 7. Filed another EOR today for writing as just one and a half month back my band was LRWS- 8.5 9 7.5 6.5 and I don't believe that my writing skill can deteriorate this much in this short span of time. This marking system is totally frustrating.
