I recently received my Refugee Travel Document (RTD) as a convention refugee. I noticed references to Type "PR" and am curious about what it means. I am not a Permanent Resident yet, although I have already submitted my PR application.
I’m concerned about whether traveling outside Canada with my RTD could pose issues upon my return. Specifically, could IRCC require a PR card, which I currently do not have? My RTD is valid for two years.
I would appreciate any clarification on this matter.
Hi, has anyone received a package from Immigration since the postal strike ended? I've been waiting for my package since December 4th, but I haven't received any updates yet, and they say it has been handed over to the postal service.
I applied for a new RTD-PR as current expires in Feb 2025.

18 December 2024 - Called and application was approved, CP tracking number provided.
