I received a PT from OINP about a month ago. Approximately a week later, I submitted my application for OINP. After doing so, I received a job offer (in Ontario) for a job in my field, and I accepted it. I am a US citizen and the job will be bringing me in under a NAFTA visa (no LMIA).
Should I update OINP about this job? If so, how? I expect to be moving to Ontario in a little over a month. The job is under the NOC code I have applied under. Obviously if I'm already living/working in Ontario, it helps my case as far as my plan to live in Ontario. Is there any other advantage? How do I let them know?
Is the OINP file number the same as the Express Entry Profile (E0005xxxxx)? If not, where can I find this number. My application was delivered recently enough to ONIP that I have not received any communication from them. Thanks!

No, you won't get an OINP file number until AOR.
In my case, OINP did not accept additional documents until they issued my file number, but other members were able to update their information before AOR. Guess it depends on the officer that checks your email.
