Changing NOC 2173 to 2174 in EE profile after receiving NOI from OINP

Hi,
I received NOI from ontario for tech stream.
My NOC is 2173 in ee profile, but my job duties match 2174. Since both fall under tech stream should I update my NOC IN EE PROFILE? or should i submit my application to OINP with 2174 job duties and wait for an update?

Well, your NOI was issued based on the NOC mentioned in your EE profile.

Since this is a NOC change + both NOCs are pretty close + they belong to the same NOC category (Skill type A) and the responsibilities match closely, I'm inclined to agree that this change should not have an effect BUT don't quote me on that. Checking this with OINP is recommended.

I have one more issue, my Name on my education documents is different from my passport and WES, am I supposed to submit an affidavit for the change of name? If so do you have some template for that?

It is safe to submit a notarized 'One and the same person' affidavit. There should be a lot of formats floating around on the Internet, pick one.
