I have mentioned about my parents as the home ties and plan to show the property documents but they are in the language other than english. Hence wondering how to get them translated to english.
Are parents really the genuine reason for home ties? in Western countries, after they reach 18, both parents and children would like to stay separately. You can mention Parents as one of the reason, but not the main reason. I would suggest you to write how you can grow professionally in your home country after completing the proposed studies. Also just because your property is in this country you don't have to return to it. How will having a property show home tie?. They just need to know you have liquid funds to support your study.
If you were refused because the type of course. Then you should opt for a 2 year Masters course. What was your previous education? What have you opted for now and for what courses were you rejected?
I love this your reply, haha. He could have blown it out of proportion if you had given him what he wanted.
Congrats CommentDebate. I have same year gap with you. Though I did PGD in between in 2014-2015. I graduated in 2010. Started work as soon as I graduated. Hoping to get a favourable study permit response when I lodge in my application. Currently waiting for employment letter from my future employer upon return from studies, while I wait as well for the dust of pandemic to subside a little before I proceed.
I don't think so. If it was, it would eventually have been part of IRCC warning from the onset just like qualifying for PGWP and registering for online studies.
Before the new measures were initiated by IRCC, the unforeseen fears had already made many international students for Spring and Fall 2020 defer to Winter 2021. So, I don't think this would hold any weight.

I learnt from the webinar that home ties is not largely factored in your decision. They already aware about the fact that most of the students want PR through PGWP. It was clearly said by IRCC representative in QA section. Your motivation letter or SOP with your strong purpose, necessary funds, relevance to study and satisfactory justification of gaps whether it's 1 year or 15 year .. is important.

Really? I applied in April along with my husband’s OWP and we all got rejected in July.. there was only one reason in the refusal letter: purpose of the visit. My major in the uni was Spanish now I want to pursue Accounting, which is a totally new domain to me. Now this time I applied alone. I’m not sure if I can make it this time

You need to show financial ties in liquid money and in property as well for each person in case of accompanying family members including yourself under a study permit.
This option was designed for PhD applicants in mind, had you/spouse received an admit for a PhD , you could had easily gotten away showing little.

No, I am the one who is applying for study permit. So last time I only provided the funds under his mom’s account, without showing my parents’ financial support. I think that is why we were denied?

In order to be approved you usually need to show that the course makes sense based on your previous education and work history, proof that you will return home after your studies and that your degree will lead to career progression. Applications for masters and PhDs are usually approved. Even bachelors degree from univeristies have a high approval rate if the choice of studies make sense because the applicants tend to be genuine students. If you are applying for accounting in college which is more like bookkeeping is doesn't make a ton of sense to come all the way to Canada and spend so much money on a new career especially if you are applying with a spouse. It screams immigration. It is too late but it would have been best to apply without your spouse.
