2 years Masters course in 2020.
Previous bachelor's passed in 2010.

Update in your profile email and in GC account was AIP.

From June 19th to August 19th no update.
August 20th, Medical passed and we are reviewing your eligibility status.
August 21st there is an update in your account email. In GC there was a document called "Others" along with biometric and application letters. However, the stats still say we are reviewing your eligibility.

Technically I received on 22nd and Canada mail date was 21st,. However, review was only for 24hours.

Also note, my AIP date is August 20th only. So they opened my application on 20th passed my medical on 20th and processed it completely. But I got notification after a day.

There is no information about the VO. I think Edmonton VO emails AIP directly to applicants. But mine was in GC account.

Yeah that's what I want to know on what basis files are getting redirected to particular VO because people whose updates are coming via mail, not the GC account, are not getting their Medicals updated the same day.

It was in his account since 2016. It was in 2 bank accounts 15lac + 15lac a total of 53k CAD. I just took statements for both and uploaded.

Yeah that's what I want to know on what basis files are getting redirected to particular VO because people whose updates are coming via mail, not the GC account, are not getting their Medicals updated the same day.

I have been trying to deduce this since day 1 I joined this forum. It is completely random. I am not sure in what order or which VAC they are processing.
It is not based on submission date, age, gender, ethnicity, type of course, province you have applied to or country you have applied from. They are distributing the applications to any VAC which is operating to give as many AIPs as possible.

Yes.
AIP is issued only for Fall 2020 courses. Don't know how it will work on deferral cases.

As per my research on IRCC website and CIC news, it's up to you to start online after your AIP. If you want you can defer your intake and can wait for in-class study. You will be processed normally and after getting your second stage approval and visa approval if travel restrictions lifted you can fly and Star your in-person education.

I applied on 13 june SDD, and worried right now as I too have 8 year Study gap and didn't received any update.
Kindly let me know if you have any group of people with huge study gap like us.
