Yes, that's an issue, IMO. You should have given the ECA number exactly as mentioned on the report. You can edit your profile and re-transmit. Good luck!

Just checked mine, mine has this on the upper right corner: ECA#: *******IMM (* indicates 7 digits). This cool?

My eca report by wes contains only
Reference number, the pattern is below
Reference#:1234567/abc
Above is exact pattern
And on first page in the bottom there is bar codes with digits showing inthe bottom of bar codes.
"Citizenship and immigration canada-FSWP"
Above wording is also mentioned on first page

Sent a request for duplicate online copy, it costs me 33$ But someone told me,it will be available within 1 bussiness day in new format and with IMM.
Also heading of eca reports changed in new format.
So its better to get new one.

I filled in my father's date of birth wrongly on my PR application form; 28/04/1954, but his correct date of birth is 28/03/1954. Now an filling out a Schedule A and I realize my mistake what should I do?

My ECA report was done last year and it does not contain IMM, just ends with 2 letters.
Moreover, it is valid for 5 years and was done specifically for Immigration purpose. Its been a month since we submitted our application. Hope all goes well. :-[

Was just browsing and thank God I found this thread. My ECA report was issued last year as well with 123456/abc format. I'm going to request the latest format to be sure.
By the way I'm not sure if it's already been posted here but if not yet let's update this document to enumerate the reasons for rejection without the discussion around it.

If you still have not submitted your PR application go ahead and request a new format. However, CIC have issued a lot of PR's for people who had their ECA report # as: 123456/abc
