RE-ENTRY TO CANADA

Hi,

I came to Canada as an international student in 2013. My temporary Resident Visa has expired and I am on an student permit extension till aug 30, 2015. I really want to go give a visit to my parents in India in April 2015- Jul 2015.i will be completing my first year in U of R by April. As of now I have put in my application of Temporary Resident visa from within Canada. Should I also apply for renewal of my Study permit because the day when I want to come back is 1 Aug, 2015 which will be too late for me to renew my study permit. Or should I apply for my student temporary visa from India
