Providing the charges were withdrawn then you should be ok. Withdrawn charges in Canada do not make you inadmissable. Just wait and see what the report says.
Ok thank you
I am not sure how long will his clearance take as it is already over a month and nothing. I am suppose to send these back next month.
I am so greatful for your help
Thank you a lot.
I hope for the best while I wait.
Yes I did call them I actually spoke to a customer service rep who really couldn't talk to me and my son is in school so he wasn't around. She couldn't tell me either how long would it take .
I didn't see fingerscan.ca as an Accredited fingerprint company in the RCMP website.
But anyone familiar with 'Canadian Corps of Commissionaires' (www.commissionaires.ca) at Downtown Toronto? They are listed in the RCMP website (http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/en/who-can-conduct-criminal-record-check).
Otherwise the nearest RCMP police station for me is near Pearson Airport, if anyone is familiar with it.
According to RCMP website, as your son has a fingerprint match (because he has a record) his PCC will take about 120 days. You may need to contact cic and ask for an extension.
So let's say he have a fingerprint match what is that saying he have a criminal record even thou the charges were withdrawn and even what will the report say. This is really very scary.
