Yeah, Canada really does not like "old" people May sound like sour grapes, but really feel they should have weightage on higher experience. I don't mind being penalized for being closer to 40 than 30, but not fair when 3 years and 10+ years of experience are given same points

Currently 439 [364 to 386 to 402 to 439. Room to increase 3 points in writing, but have no desire to sit IELTS 5th time given I was able to get W-7 on my 4th attempt only and my writing is OK only].
Was hoping to get ITA before I loose points due to age, but that does not seem plausible given the CRS trend now.
Don't you think it might go lower in Sept to the 438 range ? There should be a 3 week gap in September (third quarter of the year) immediately after which the draw size increases to 4000 as per the trend so far.
Considering CIC strictly follows 2 week gap draws and 3750 ITAs for the remaining of the year, below 440 cut off is inevitable.
The most probable date for a CRS 438 cut off is Oct 17th.
In the best case scenario, CRS 438 can happen on Sept 19th.
The above prediction would be impacted positively if 1 week gap draws occur and would be impacted negatively if 3 week gap draws occur.

Injecting some hope - just got my 2nd IELTS results.
I was sure I had to sit a 3rd time because I really thought I messed up on Listening and Writing. HOWEVER, I got L 8.5, R 9, S 8.5, W 7.5 so I'll be able to bump my score up to 441 now!
Yes, I am considering 2 IELTS results being out before Aug 22nd in my calculations, that's why there won't be a decrease in cut off in the next draw and most probably cut off would stay at 440. There is also a good possibility that the cut off could slightly go up.
439 in the Aug 22nd draw is close to impossible with 3750 ITAs.

Thanks! That was my second ielts. Had to do it because i missed 0.5 in one module, but after all the stress and sleepless nights, I am overwhelmed with happiness and hope with my results.
To others, please if you can re-take ielts. I know how stressful it is to prepare for the exams, and i wish you all lots of courage + determination.
