Hi ..Can anyone please help me. I have created express entry profile. I have more than one year of experience in one NOC code. But I changed employers. So, I have 9 months of experience with Employer A and 7months and counting with my current employer B. Will this be considered continuous employment of more than one year? I am hopeful of getting an ITA tomorrow... But, I dont want to reject my ITA as it will be a loss to some people who are eagerly waiting. Please let me know. Thanks!
In ECA certificate from WES, you would have the date when they assessed your education credentials. The CIC Immigration officer would consider the date mentioned on ECA certificate to verify if you have attained the EE draw score while examining or reviewing your application (remember this is post ITA review after you pay your fees). So if the officer feels you were not in a position to gain the score allowing you to be picked up in a particular EE draw, he might reject your application and forfeit your processing fees.
In general, WES would send you a notification and allow you to view your WES assessed certificate online (even before the certificate letter arrives to you by post). Wait for the online notification and fill in the certificate number in your EE profile.
Let me know if you have any queries.
in our case we did not had any last name and it was mentioned as -. So I got it as TJ where T points to - somehow and J points to firstname/given name.
Can you please review your IELTS Certificate number on https://results.ieltsessentials.com (by filling in all the details), and try matching with the hard copy certificate number.
Also where was the IELTS test given (india - state/city)
Please let us know. Thanks again for your valuable sharing.

I called IRCC agent on 04.17 last Tuesday and they said my Eligibility is still not completed yet and background check not started. And wordings of IP2 are not always correct because agents could mistakenly put the wrong status forward or not yet updated the status.
So I followed up today and asked IRCC agent for clarification of my file and she said my eligibility is recommended pass lol which is a pass to me. And there are two parts of background check. No.1 is in progress and No.2 hasn’t started. I would conceive No.1 as normal background check including like criminal check and No.2 as security screening. I feel so close to ppr guys. I’m so happy. I will keep you guys updated when I receive ppr
Note, although I received recommended pass for eligibility on my file between last call and today’s call. There is no update on the system. No updates do not mean that your file is stuck. IRCC is still doing the work.
Rest assured. Agent said final bgc is usually days. But could be 2 weeks. Worst case months. But my case is easy. I came to canada 18 for university. Graduated and went to work for a year. Only traveling between home country and canada. I should get bgc cleared soon. So happy

Please refer to CIC website - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=664&top=29
The CIC website clearly mentioned full time employment, but did not mention it should be continuous. There are so many posts about the duration with different employers who have processed their application; As long as you are full time employed and fulfill the CIC conditions mentioned, you are good to proceed and submit your documentation post ITA

You cannot submit the profile until you get your ECA results. Do you see a due date under your current ECA status? You'll get your results on that day.
Call the WES service center, if the application is received by them and is under processing/ review for more than 3 weeks. usually they would take up a case and process it quickly, if the application crosses the normal processing times
As per my observations during the past few draws (CIC always mentions the draw time in UTC time and not in EST i.e. Canada local time), it is better to update before 5 AM EST/ 3PM IST (on the EE draw day), if you update later then pickup depends on exact draw time.

When providing a visit VISA to canada, CIC does not perform a background check for an individual. So a previous stay in canada wouldnt provide a significant benefit when processing your PR from outside of Canada. But it would automatically decreases the overall time to be considered for Background verification for an individual (if you were living in different places, not sure of your case)
