A relatively newbie question.... will everyone above the cut off get ITA or is it still a random draw? From the distribution, i see the number of candidates who qualify is less than the no. of ITAs which would mean 100% of them must receive ITAs. Am i assuming right here?

All above cut-off will get an ITA in 24 hours. Distribution Chart date is 27th July and we have 5-6 days gap between draw and chart. So expect new entries. (For CRS and PNP as well.)

1000+ people with CRS >= 400 came into the pool pool just between Last week Thursday and today.
A whole 1000+ plus people.

If this draw happened last Wednesday , CRS would have been so low because this 1000+ people would be replaced by the candidates in the 431 - 440 band.

Does this mean CIC waited till they accumulated enough applicant over with CRS up to 440.

Please beg CIC to please not close their eyes to those with lower score.

Hi everyone

I created a express entry profile in June, i had a score of 431 under canadian experience class. But when i logined today it was showing score 444. They updated points for my work experience even though i dont have 2 years experience
My work experience
July 2015 - sep 2015- 20 hours weekly
Oct 2015- may 2016- 26 hours weekly
June 2016- until now -37.5 hours weekly
(Only one job in one place)

I dont no how they calculated please some one can explain what should be my next step?

I had a similar situation with you. When I created my profile with 11 months(under CEC), they sent me an invitation and I was very tempted to accept and proceed the application but wasn't sure 100% so searched this forum for weeks. What I found here was some senior members mentioned that even we got the invitation with a bit short of work experience, the visa officer will check the date we get the invitation, too. I think I searched by 11 months of work experience like that. hope this helps.

Yes! you are right. Everyone above cut-off will receive ITA! candidates sitting right on to 441, CIC will select based on the time they submitted their application. (Please correct me seniors, if I'm wrong)

Next thing that will happen now is ....
OINP will make another killer move of reopening this week and people will rush at it since this new draw suggest CIC is not going lower than 440....

Or why didn't this draw happen last Wednesday.

Did CIC wait for this 1000+ people to create profiles??

I have 460 points. However, I don't see any invite yet on my CIC account. Do they take time to send you the invite once your points are enough?

No they don't send invites to anyone above 441.
