It is because of people who try to cheat the system that it makes it so much more difficult for honest people with so many background checks and paper work. Because they know that everywhere there is an 'oversmart" fella who tries to bend the rules!

Imagine how it will be if that they CANCEL your application since your EE information does not match your Post ITA documentation. So much of a risk for just a lack of patience!

The same here. It's been such a long wait since the last draw. The ironical thing is that I have already registered for the IELTS this Saturday (the fourth try) in the hope of maximizing the IELTS score. So I am also getting ready for the IELTS now while entertaining myself with the thought that maybe there will be no need. What a dilemma!

But IELTS will not refund the money now ...so you as well give it...and hope you TOP it haha.

Hi Guys,

I have created my EE profile recently and waiting optimistically for an ITA. My questions are bit off-the topic (I hope you guys wont mind)

I am stuck in between counting years of experience. I've 1 year of experience as lecturer and 3.2 years as Planning Engineer. My Questions are:

1. For Planning Engineers which NOC is most relevant? (I've chosen Civil Engineer as I've Bachelor's degree in Civil and have been working in Construction Industry)
2. Can I select two different NOCs (NOC 4011 for Lecturer) & (Primary NOC 2131) for Planning Engineer experience?
3. Out of 3.2 years of Engineering experience I don't have reference letter from one company where I just worked for 8 months. However I have included this experience in my EE profile. Do you guys suggest deleting (8 months) experience since I am still able to claim maximum points for working experience. (1 year as Lecturer + 2.4 years as Planning Engineer)

Could anybody please advise.

I think there will be a big draw tomorrow...coz I guess only 10%-15% people (out of 2017 total) are probably get PR through old paper base applications.. rest will get through EE...so to cover quota of 2017 they need big draws like 3500-4000

WHat is your score? I am also in the gulf region.

There will be almost nil or few hundreds of paper based applications. Two years are good enough for a normal case to get a PR. All those paper based cases which are in waiting would be having some type of problem. Chances of turning those in green are remote.

but hoping to get CLB 9 in my next IELTS attempt...which will increase my score upto 440
