They issued less ITAs because the reduced the quota to get more refugees in. And by all means they want to make EE as a sole criteria for all economic immigrants EE is still running 75-80% when EE will operate fully we will see 3500-4000 ITAs as a norm because they have to acheive their target as well. They dont care about the scores they care about number of ITAs to be given. And people with 400+ Scores are good also they have all the things that can label them as a economic immigrants.
And Scores will fall because in the past every one needed only 67/100 points to qualify for immigration but now thats not the case so the scores will fall for those who have high human core capital points and mind you any score above 400 is good.

If they keep drawing 2.5k plus, it will go down for sure, albeit a bit slowly due to possibly higher number of applicants. I expect a 5-6 point drop each time. 454 perhaps with 2600 odd ITAs
I have one ineligible profile which never saw an ITA, when I created new profile, I answered "Yes" to the question "Has XXXX applied for Express Entry before? ". As I understand now that answer to this question should be No.
Can someone suggest what should I do in this case as I got ITA on Jan 11
I posted this question in Jan !! ITA thread but no one replied. Hoping for a reply here
My wife is the main applicant. She doesn't work at the moment and therefore has no income. I have been sending money to her account so that she has sufficient funds in case we receive an ITA. This is completely fine right? Since I am her husband I do not need to declare that this money is a gift right? And from what I understand Canada is more interested in that you actually have the money than that there was a steady income in the past?
Sorry for posting it in here but hoping for a quick answer.

Thanks for your response! So I guess we should be fine then. Our immigration consultant advised us to place the funds in the account of the main applicant if you don't have a shared account.
I have PGWP and my wife accompanying me, we have same expiry date which will be expired next month. My wife have decided to study in Canada, so she applied for study permit/ open work permit for me. Hoping I can buy sometime until I get the ITA in near future.
My question is: What are my chances to get the OWP under my wife study permit application ?
