People who are talking it not fair for FSW right? kindly let me know how can a high school pass-out candidate with 2 years diploma in Canada and 2 years Canadian Experience can compete with someone who has Masters/Ph.D. or 3-5 years of experience?
I know people will say gain some experience and education but believe me, it is hard, when someone is on PGWP, and it is expiring (does not matter his highest qualification is a diploma or bachelors) all FSW high scoring candidates making hard to get ITA, which was some kind of a part of being an international student towards the permanent residency.
IRCC is not doing any favor by doing CEC draws only, it is the right of a person who has been living here for more than 3 or 4 years and has gone through all ups and downs in the country
I hope there will some more CEC draws in the future..........

I know it's tough, but CECs do get nice bonuses for Canadian education and work experience. And i don't begrudge them that for the record, i know you guys spend a lot of money to study and work in Canada, and you should be rewarded for that in some way when it comes to immigration. I know the struggle from personal experience.
I'm just saying, let everyone compete on equal ground now, because FSWs don't want to miss out on draws either, just like i'm sure you would not want to miss out on draws as a CEC.
Just make the draws all program again.
You guys got 2 CEC only draws, that's a lot. I think it's time for the FSWs to have a chance of qualifying as well.
Which means probably another CEC draw on the way. So disheartening for me as it was my only shot! Points will drop before the next drop and I won't ever make it now.
Happy for the CeC guys though. I can only imagine what it must feel like to realise a dream after having lost hope. You all deserve it for your perseverence.

How is it equal if some are spending more money and are on the same level as those spending less. IRCC is doing their best considering the situation.Equality isnt fairness. It is what it is. No one expected this situation, so lets just be patient and wait for our time.

It can't be about money spent, it's not about buying an ITA.
It's about who is best qualified to contribute economically to the country, obviously people with higher qualifications and more work experience should receive more points as a result.
You already receive additional points, i think it's fair enough.

so what about integration? CEC means you are already integrated in Canada so its common sense you get preference over newcomers, we use this in our daily lives, we give preferential treatments to friends and family in a case where ALL IS QUALIFIED. I never implied it was about money, i was pointing out that equality isnt fairness. the additional points isnt an advantage, its common sense. For example, the person with the best qualification doesnt always get the job, other factors come into play, so having more experience and higher points doesnt make you superior to those with less, there are other factors to consider
