Points are avoided per section. Even if he gets clb 5 in writing he will get one point. And if his English is that good he can score 5 points in other three sections. You still have chance of getting 16 additional points. If you both want to come to Canada this much effort is needed.
Yes iam ecouraging him to write because imigrating to canada is my dream from 2017 july and seeing it getting shattered is a worse feeling even with not so bad crs of 453..

Why don't both of you go for an IELTS then.
Your spouse can give you maximum 20 points if they get 8777 in LRWS, and you can go for CLB 10.
That means you can still get a maximum of 29 points towards CRS by IELTS. And if your spouse alone could get an overall score of 7.0 with a CLB 8, you can still get the 16 points from them alone.
haha...not really ,was just wondering about average waiting period for NOI and ITA as i joined the pool recently
hope they show some mercy upon us.. LOL
So, little (huge) problem: I had a backlog that delayed the completion of my Masters by 6 months.
So, instead of 2015-17, I completed it in Dec 2017, and got results in March 2018.
According to the WES evaluation, I've received the degree in 2018. Delhi University's provisional degree certificate is dated Oct 2018.
In my education details, I've listed the duration of the course as starting from July, 2015 till to March 2018. Does that make sense?
How do people navigate dates with backlogs? What do they use as the end date of their course, and, if the Masters is required to qualify for your work, what date do they enter as the "qualification awarded to work in your noc" bit?
I'm sitting at 469 and I really, really hope this date won't be a problem!
Hey don’t give up hope. Not happening why?which modules are you facing a problem?if it writing -did you get your written essays corrected by an Ielts examiner ?if it’s reading -did you continue to do exercises .Ielts is tough ,I strongly believe they more towards how well you understand what strategy they need you to follow versus how good your English is ..(ofcourse your level of English matters).I am telling you by experience ..seek professional help and see the difference.
My score is 467 and I could get 3 more points if I achieve max points in ielts. Wondering if I should write it again given the high crs scores in the draws recently...Any thoughts?

I had the same challenge with my wife, she didn't trust herself to take the IELTS... I had to sign her up for it, she sat it thinking about getting 5s and even 4.5. Oh surprise, she got 6.5 overall, boom, 12 points added to our profile.
Just sign him up for the exam and encourage him by explaining the structure of it, the rest will follow...
