I could not believe my eyes for one minute. 4500? I think it is time to get those hopes up again. Scores are bound to come down. 137 is definitely a ray of hope. congrats to all those who will get an ITA today.

You never know why this time 4500 invites have been sent. May be, CIC is skipping next draw and may conduct after 3 weeks. Or, they may reduce number of invites next time and score will go up again. There is some good reason behind issuing 4500 invites by CIC.

I really wish, they continue issuing 4500 invites in upcoming draws and reach to 460 score so quickly.

Its been a while since I last posted in ray of hope. I was a active member here like 1 year ago. When everything seemed lost, ray of hope threads were the only thing kept me going. I posted a lot of analysis and calculations and was getting good at my math Lol. I was trying to raise the hope of others and in the process raise my own hope up. Now I am in Canada living my dream. Today when my notifcation popped up for a new draw and I saw 4500 invites I was like WOW, this can be a gamechanger for many who are now in the same situation I was 2 years ago.

4500 is a historic number and although cic now seem to have a strategic plan to manage the pool and only invite people with superb resume and high credentials, you never know whats gonna happen in future. If they keep maintain this number for few months the score will plummet and soon we will see 460 and below. Keep your hope up guys and try all your options to increase the score. All the best.

I am guessing increased immigration goals to be one reason and maybe trying to give away with back to back draws since they want to keep the processing times fast. And also I guess (hope) they made proper changes to the processing system to keep the processing fast so that they can increase the draw size and keep it consistent.

Maybe they don't separate the FST draws thuis year, buy include them in regular draws

total number cannot say much about the candidates as many will leave the pool as their profile expired. many will be out of the pool as they got ITA..
and equivalent number of people entered the pool..

i see it differently... the number of people in 450-600 region increased from 19861 to 21116.. thats an increase of 1255.

Actually it's an increase of 4316 people. According to your data table, 3061 people from 451-600 range were invited in the last draw. So the number in this score range after the last draw was 16800. As on 14th February, the number was 21116 which means an addition of 4316 candidates with a score between 451 and 600 in the pool.
