My wife and I have been living in USA for past 15 years. Thinking about moving to Canada with the whole H1b bullshit. We both took our IELTS and our CRS score is at 464. I know the cut off has been higher lately. Our transcripts are being evaluated at WES. Do we get any points once the transcripts are evaluated? Is there an alternative route besides being hopeful?
If your scores are 464 without an ECA then I assume it will increase when you get them done. Other options are to max out as it has been said here countless times. You can still look out for PNP’s that suit your NOC. Finally, work and pray !!!!
I am stuck at 464 with no way to improve my score. It's really frustrating that last year my score would've been more than enough (I couldn't apply then because I only achieved 1 year of Canadian work experience in Dec 2019), and now it seems that it's impossible my temporary work visa is going to run out in November and I really really don't want to leave Canada! I have a fiancee here but she can't sponsor me because she previously sponsored her ex. Really scared. Hoping and hoping that the score gradually goes down over time.
Learn French. I took same decision exactly this time last year. I started classes in April and by end of October, I had written TEF. Got result mid-November. Enrol for french classes in March before November, you will get ITA. Not easy but I did it all the same. If I can, you can too.

This was my second attempt..my other sections are L 9 , R 9 , S 8 , W 7. Im almost positive i should get more. Its actually embarrasing and frustrating that i cudnt even manage a 7.5 in writing. I think il go for re evaluation and will also go for french classes.
You can go for a re-evaluation if you are sure you did better . To max out, you must not blink in any section . Mine increased after re-evacuation but i still haven’t maxed out but I ain’t giving up until i get an ITA.

Not at all. My projected CRS score is 479 which I don’t think will be enough in May or June after the FST draw. I am trying to improve my score in the meantime.

I am not wasting my time arguing with you. FST draws increase the cut-off. Look at what previous FST draws did to the cut-off score. 479 is safe only until the FST draw. I qualify for CEC only by the end of May. End of the story. Not trying to cause panic here, you have to be realistic and get on board with the competition or risk getting left behind. If you are not one of the top 3000 odd candidates when there is a draw, you don’t get an invite. Period.
Why would you think most people in the 467/468 have improved their scores? I would bet the vast majority of applicants do not ever upgrade their scores, actually.
I'm wondering if we may see a FST draw today, as part of the 4,500 ITAs strategy from last week.
Still trying to understand what are IRCC plans after the 4,500.
