I don't know what are the changes because I am sole applicant like you guys. However so many people who understand Canadian politics and politicians are pretty sure of probable strategy. And that will be in favour of international students for sure. In my personal opinion either they will increase points for Canadian education or Canadian experience or may be both. We will find out in January when they actually take charge in new year. We must not forget the fact that there were always changes after new government is formed. Fingers crossed

I have been admitted to Goodman School of Business' MBA Program for August 2020 Intake. Now my question is as follows:
- Suppose I receive the ITA this month end (27 Nov draw) will I be able to complete all the process until end of July 2020? All the docs required post ITA like Reference Letters, Proof of Funds, PCC etc are already ready with me and I can submit them within two days of receipt of ITA except the Medicals which can be only done post receipt of ITA.
- Do you think its wise to wait to receive the PR and then go for the program, rather than applying for Study permit?

PR process takes almost 8 months after AOR. Study permit will take almost half of the time. International student status will demand minimum 3 times the fee from institutes as opposed to a PR or citizen student.

Thank you for your reply! Slightly new to the terminologies used here, AOR is acknowledgement of receipt of docs post ITA right? I thought it took 6 months after AOR. I know, the fees are more for international students! However, for my program the fees are identical for Intl students, PR Holders and Citizens!

I dont intend to hurt you. You have another option to enter Canada with a study permit. You will anyways gain more points after your PG and once you get to work there and PR will still be a possibility for you. Applicantions like these affect people who are left with nothing but EE. Again sorry if I hurt you. Its just that lots of us are desperate and left with one option which is EE!

OMG, your humility made me feel ashamed of what I said. Please go ahead and apply through EE. Like someone said your fees would be less and for all we know EE policy can change anytime. Make hay while the sun shines. You have a great score. Wish you the best!
