I agree but it may bring some impact to education industry. Less and less international students will come to Canadian universities because there is no opportunity for them to immigrate

I am not so sure about that. Many people will still try to "buy a hope" and flood into Canada for a chance.
Also, in many people's mind, inland applicants are always thought to be at an advantage (although I guess it's not necessarily true?)
For example, they can earn points for Canadian degree, easier to get a job offer which is equal to 50 points increase, gain Canadian work experience for more points etc.
So even the cut off score is high, the effect on international student intake may not be as big as we assume.

And to think deeper about it... it may even increase the demand for a Canadian degree!
If the cut-off is so high, it is a bitter goodbye for many outland applicants (since there's a limit of maxing out your score especially when they only count 3 years of foreign work experience, and most PNP either favors applicants with a job offer or Canadian experience or even having a Canadian degree.)
In this sense only those inland applicants can continue to increase their score.
So... on the contrary, it may turn out to be a strategy of choosing the best among inland applicants while this is a real goodbye for outland applicants.
I am really confused with Field of study in EE profile.
I have done my btech in CSE and Post grad diploma in computer applications.
Some people are saying that i need to fill "COMPUTING/INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY" for both courses, while others are recommending me to fill "APPLIED SCIENCE " for Btech .
465 - 70 will be the trend next year. Upcoming draws will range as follows:
Nov 13 - 470±2
Nov 27 - 467±2
Dec 11 - 465±2
Dec 18 - 462±2
This is my say. A total gut feeling as of now. We will see next draw and predict again. The November draws will be close to these predictions, cannot be sure about December predictions as they are far away and there are too many dynamics controlling the output.

B.Tech. in Computer Science is applied science. Anything to do with engineering is applied science. The people who told you to choose this are correct.
Computing/IT should be chosen in case of BCA/MCA or other similar courses.
it is not gud... it is scary... You are all giving strange predictions, and we are stressed fpr 465 and below 465 to 460.
It is really a miracle only now
how u guess and how you predict .. I mean any consultation from any candian consultant or some board, and if u don't mind what is yr crs, r u relaxed or stressed like me

And for post graduate diploma in computer application??
This diploma course I had done after my engineering,
So can you give me idea about this course as well?

Not only you, I am stressed at 417. Am I doing this for fun? NO. My life earnings are on stake. If I had to spend 5 more years in this country, I couldn't.
What we are predicting is related to what we are seeing in the trends. One cannot say the following predictions:
Nov 13 - 468-70
Nov 27 - 462-64
Dec 11 - 459-61
Dec 18 - 452-54
are going to be true, because we are seeing pretty high scores as cutoffs.
