Is it possible next draw will be for PNP? My friend has been processing with the Province for almost 3 months now and going to get answer from them soon.
Did you get Ontario invitation? I would go for that route if I were you, were on the same boat. US IT 1 year exp, feel like Canada isn’t meant for people with 1-yr experience anymore. I maxed ielts but sitting at 456.
Hi my fellow friend,I was dumb that I missed the 8.1 ONIP tech draw accidentally..Idk if there will be another tech draw in the near future, because I see Ontario has almost reached its PNP allocation for fiscal year 2019.But yes you are absolutely right, ONIP is much promising for 1 year experience.
What about you, ever consider the tech draw?BTW 456 is totally decent score even for the federal EE, and I think you will be picked in the next few months for sure. If I had 456 I wouldn't so panic and desperate to seek for jobs/LMIA opportunities
There are people on this forum who talk garbage, and then there's this. Accurate AF. Scoring a 6 on AWA is definitely easier than IELTS, not sure why. Exact same experience. Having said that, if you are scoring around the 6-6.5 mark, practice harder. Read more. Get others to evaluate your content, and that's the best you can do.

My OPT is expiring soon, so I’m trying to apply to Amazon or Microsoft or something to get sent to Canada via LMIA. But it is difficult cuz of high competition. Just wait for a couple of months, there should be more tech draws

What field did you study for your Master's and how long ago did you get your degree? If it's natural or applied science then you may be eligible for bcpnp.
