Guys, since there are no IELTS/IDP results being declared till the next cut off (10-Jul). Can we expect a reduction incoming profiles(or) high scoring candidates ?

The scores came down from457 -454-452-451-451-450
So 3 -2-1-0-1 decrease
From 470 we had 5 them 3 points decrease we will probably see 2 points then 1 point decrease then the score stabilize it may stabilize around 459 or 460

That makes no sense

I got my ielts results L-8.5 R-7 W-7.5 S-8 but i am sure my reading was good. should i give for revaluation ?
My score is 460 with these results but i still think the reading went well and should be 8 .

please guide here . should re sit or recheck ? How long it takes for recheck results ?

I am not a senior but seeing you got a few bad suggestions.. here r my thoughts..

Confirm this from idp or british council.. the moment u apply for recheck ur current trf becomes invalid.. so u cannot create an ee profile until ur recheck is done.. it takes about 3 weeks.. but if ur case goes for a secondary level check,they advuse to check back in 3 months.. all this is based on a discussion with test center rep 6 months ago.. please recheck

I'd advise to sit tight and wait for your ita.. based on current trend you should get it in next 4 draws if not 2..

To be very honest, I would suggest let’s wait for July draws. There is a high possibility that CIC may increase the number of ITAs. This way, upcoming predictions will change and cut-off will be lowered down if CIC consistently issue 3500/3900 ITAs for rest of the year.

Remember that CIC always make major changes and become lenient in Q3 & Q4 (be it increased ITAs or B2B draw).

Well, aswering to your curiousity, assuming 3,350 ITAs and draw on fortnightly basis, here are the approximations:

July 10: 460
July 24: 458
August: 455-456
September: 452-454

But, trust me, these predictions will change once ITAs are increased and will touch score below 450 soon

Hey man thanks for your kind reply, and I really appreciate it. I am evaluating the situation under the worst case scenario, and I am quite concerned about the upcoming program specific draw in September and the potential change of immigration rules after the election. I hope that the next draw can be 460 then everything after that can be more positive, but if we only reach 459 on July 24 then there could be trouble....

Ok yes I am at 460 now but I am scared in May i was at 457 and cutoff was 450 i was so.confident but I filed the profile on 8th may and 15th May draw ruined everything the cut off went to 470 and I am paranoid now even though sitting at 460. I am worried that a tie breaker would harm me this time because profile is fairly new created on 8th may and I know there are old profile with 460 in March or Feb

I am in somewhat of a same boat.. Do you have all other documents ready? No? Get everything done.. An ITA is no good if you are not able to submit your application..

If yes, think about the timeline you'd have if u take IELTS again.. it'll make sense to wait then..

yea documents are fairly ready just medical and reference letters is remaining while rest all is done. timeline is good if i take this week then results by next week before 10th July but lets see ... i will wait
